Harry Kane sets another record

Harry Kane has once again made Bundesliga history. The England striker scored twice against Union Berlin, and his second goal was his 100th in Germany's top flight. Bayern beat Union 7–0. Michael Olise completed a hat-trick, while Jamal Musiala and Ismael Saibari also scored. Serge Gnabry's return was another important development for Vincent Kompany. The winger came on late after several months out with an adductor injury.

Bayern sit second, two points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund. Their squad situation is complicated, however, by an injury to Konrad Laimer, who suffered a minor problem with his left leg shortly before the Union match. After the international break, Bayern travel to Augsburg, who have seven points from four matches and sit fourth.
